LPA Holds 2026 Annual Convention in Mobile

The Libertarian Party of Alabama successfully held its 2026 Annual Convention on March 27-28 at Fairhope Brewing Company in Mobile, Alabama. Party members, delegates, and guests gathered for a weekend of fellowship, discussion, and the official business of the state affiliate.

A Welcoming Start on Friday

The convention kicked off Friday evening with a relaxed mixer that brought together members and curious newcomers alike. Several non-members attended to learn more about the Libertarian Party, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful conversations about liberty, policy, and the future of Alabama.

Saturday Business Session: Full Agenda Completed

Saturday’s business session began slightly behind schedule, but the convention ultimately stayed on track and successfully completed all planned business.

Delegates worked through a full agenda, including:

  • All party elections
  • All proposals from the Bylaws and Rules Committee
  • All proposals from the Platform Committee

With 23 credentialed delegates present, the convention achieved strong participation and meaningful deliberation across all items.
